Privacy Policy

Last updated: 11 June 2026

kach is built privacy-first. Your training data lives on your device, not our servers. This policy explains the limited data involved, how advertising works, and the choices you have.

In short

We don't require an account and we don't collect your workouts. The app shows ads through Google AdMob, which uses device-level identifiers to serve and measure them. You can limit this in your device settings. If an ad-free upgrade is offered in the future, it will contain no advertising SDKs.

1. Who we are

kach ("we", "us", "the app") is a workout-tracking application for iPhone and Apple Watch. For any privacy questions or requests, contact us at support@kach.health.

2. Data stored on your device

The core of kach works entirely on your device. The following never leaves your phone:

We have no servers that receive or store this information.

3. Health & device integrations

If you choose to connect them, kach exchanges data with Apple Health and Apple Watch — for example reading heart rate during workouts, two-way syncing body measurements, and writing completed workouts to Health. This data moves only between your device and Apple Health, is governed by Apple's privacy terms, and never reaches us or advertisers. You can revoke access at any time in your device settings.

4. Advertising

kach is supported by advertising provided by Google AdMob (a Google service). To serve and measure ads, AdMob and its partners may collect and process:

This is third-party advertising: Google acts as an independent controller of the data it collects for ads. We do not share your workout, health or measurement data with advertisers. Google's handling of ad data is described in the Google Privacy & Terms.

In the European Economic Area and the UK, a consent form is shown before any ads, and you can change that choice at any time in the app via Profile → Privacy options. Everywhere, you can reduce ad personalization by disabling "Allow Apps to Request to Track" (or declining the tracking prompt) in iOS Settings. If an ad-free upgrade is offered in the future, it will contain no advertising SDKs.

5. Diagnostics

We may use Apple's standard, privacy-preserving crash and performance reporting to keep the app stable. This contains no workout content and is aggregated by Apple. You can opt out via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.

6. Children

kach is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Your rights

Because your training data stays on your device, you remain in control of it: you can view, edit or delete entries at any time from within the app, and uninstalling the app removes all of it (there is no backup/restore in this version). For choices about advertising identifiers, see section 4 or your device's privacy settings.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, note it in the app. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
